PEACE WALLS

UPDATE :  THE PEACE WALLS WALLS MURAL PROJECT HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO LACK OF COMMUNITY INPUT.  ALL DONATIONS FOR THIS COUNTY WILL BE REFUNDED.

Do you have a wall or know of a wall that needs a mural?  Jackson County is pleased to be the home to the first mural in a series of murals called Peace Walls.  Donate your wall and kickstart your community.  Bring awareness to your business or non profit by donating an outside wall of your building.

Note:  You don't have to own the wall you recommend.  Examples of good mural sites;  Libraries, schools, help centers, rehabilitation centers, parks, transportation walls, overpasses, businesses who engage in a compassionate community, businesses who offer goods or services promoting the greater good of humanity.  All walls considered.

The mural picture will be a collaborative effort between the artist, community input and the wall owner.

Peace Walls mural project is 100% funded through donations for the betterment of the community.  Peace Walls intends to apply for non profit status by 2022 but as of now the donations are a personal gift and not tax deductible.

The mural fundraiser goal is $15,000.  We will accept donations until our goal is met.  If you or your business would like to donate supplies or funds you will be recognized in a unique way.

The approximate mural start date is Late Spring, 2021.

Peace Walls project is brought to you by artistic representative Mira Lea Rinehart and the collective creation crew.
