Do you have a wall or know of a wall that needs a mural? Jackson County is pleased to be the home to the first mural in a series of murals called Peace Walls. Donate your wall and kickstart your community. Bring awareness to your business or non profit by donating an outside wall of your building.
Note: You don't have to own the wall you recommend. Examples of good mural sites; Libraries, schools, help centers, rehabilitation centers, parks, transportation walls, overpasses, businesses who engage in a compassionate community, businesses who offer goods or services promoting the greater good of humanity. All walls considered.
The mural picture will be a collaborative effort between the artist, community input and the wall owner.
Peace Walls mural project is 100% funded through donations for the betterment of the community. Peace Walls intends to apply for non profit status by 2022 but as of now the donations are a personal gift and not tax deductible.
The mural fundraiser goal is $15,000. We will accept donations until our goal is met. If you or your business would like to donate supplies or funds you will be recognized in a unique way.
The approximate mural start date is Late Spring, 2021.
